Route: San José – Pacuare River Rafting – Arenal Volcano – Sky Trek – Manuel Antonio National Park – Ocean Kayaking and Snorkeling – San Jose
Day 1- Arrival to San José- At your arrival in San Jose a guide will be waiting for you at the airport and will provide all the travel documents. A shuttle service will take you to your town hotel. Accommodation in a Superior Room at the Ramada Plaza Herradura Hotel.
Day 2 – San Jose – PACUARE RIVER RAFTING – Arenal Volcano - This morning you will be picked up in San Jose and driven to Turrialba. The Pacuare River has been declared a Wild and Scenic River, and offers some of the finest white water rafting tours Latin America, providing the adventurous rafter with a ride of unbelievable natural beauty as it winds deep inside one of Costa Rica’s most impressive primary rain forests. After your tour you will be transferred to the town of La Fortuna, home of the impressive Arenal Volcano. Accommodation in a Junior Suite at the Mountain Paradise Hotel with breakfast included.
Day 3 - Arenal Volcano – SKY TRAM – SKY TREK – In the morning you will be picked up for this great adventure. First you must ride on the Sky Tram, in order to reach the highest point of the Arenal Reserve. Then you will start the adventure, full of adrenalin over the top of the trees. Sky Trek consists in a zip line system that lets you see the rain forest from a different perspective, considering your safety with a completely innovated system. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 2.8 Km., with a distance from 30 to 760 meters, and from 20 to 200 meters of height with spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.Accommodation in a Junior Suite at the Mountain Paradise Hotel with breakfast included.
Day 4 - Arenal Volcano - Manuel Antonio – After breakfast you begin your trip on a private shuttle service towards Manuel Antonio National Park. You will be driven through coffee plantations and volcanic mountains down to the Pacific slope until you get to Quepos, a town located by the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park. Just three hundred yards from the beach, and about 500 ft in elevation overlooking world famous Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Verde features 3 cliffside pools with sundecks and spacious rooms, studios and bungalows, all offering balconies with a bird's-eye view of the Park's majestic coastline or rainforest canopy vistas dotted with toucans, sloths, coatis and monkeys. Accommodation in a Studio Plus Room at the Hotel Costa Verde with breakfast.
Day 5 -Ocean Kayaking and Snorkeling Manuel Antonio – In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel and will be brought to Quepos where you will start this adventure. You will kayak for about one hour During your journey you will passing by little islands and inlets that are home and nesting grounds for several marine bird species. You will stop at a beautiful hidden bay to rest and enjoy a refreshing snack. Breakfast included. Here you will have a chance to snorkel. Here you are most likely to spot parrotfish, starfish, angelfish and with some luck you might see a sea turtle. Upon returning to the dock head back to base camp to enjoy a little conversation over a delicious homemade meal. Transportation will be provided to return you to your hotel.. Accommodation in a Studio Plus Room at the Hotel Costa Verde with breakfast.
Day 6 – Manuel Antonio National Park – Day at leisure in Manuel Antonio for activities like a hiking at the National Park where you can enjoy its pristine beaches surrounded by the exotic rain forest. Accommodation in a Studio Plus Room at the Hotel Costa Verde with breakfast.
Day 7 – MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK – SAN JOSE – Morning at leisure to enjoy the area. In the afternoon a shuttle service will bring you back to San Jose. Accommodation in a Superior Room at the Ramada Plaza Herradura Hotel with breakfast included.
Day 8 - SAN JOSE – INTL. AIRPORT - Shuttle transfer to the International Airport and return flight.
