Route: San José - Sarchí - Baldi Hot Springs - Arenal Volcano – Manuel Antonio National Park
Day 1- Arrival to San José- At your arrival in San Jose a guide will be waiting for you at the airport and will provide all the travel documents. A shuttle service will take you to your town hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel Rincon del Valle or similar. Breakfast included.
Day 2 – HANDYCRAFT TOWN SARCHI – BALDI HOT SPRINGS – ARENAL VOLCANO - Your first day trip takes you through the town of Alajuela and mountain roads, passing by many coffee fields, where your guide will introduce you to this important product of exportation. After a short visit to the coffee field you will continue driving to Sarchi, home of the handicrafts and the famous oxcart factories. Your trip continues driving through an amazing mountain range until your reach the town of La Fortuna, by the impressive Arenal Volcano. You will visit the Baldi Hot Springs, where you can relax and enjoy the view to this active Volcano. After dinner you will be driven to your hotel. Accommodation at the Hotel La Pradera del Arenal or similar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Day 3 - TOUR OF YOUR CHOICE FROM THE "A" OPTIONS - Build your own day activity by choosing one of the "A" tour options: Balsa River Rafting Class III & IV, Canyoning and Waterfall Rappel or the boat tour at the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. Overnight stay at Hotel Casa Luna or similar in La Fortuna. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 4 - TOUR OF YOUR CHOICE FROM THE "B" OPTIONS - Another exciting day in La Fortuna. Choose one of the tour "B" options: the Ecoglide Canopy Tour, a horseback ride to the Fortuna Waterfall or a hike at the Arenal Volcano Hanging Bridges. Overnight stay at Hotel Casa Luna or similar in La Fortuna. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 5- Arenal Volcano - Manuel Antonio – After breakfast you begin your trip on a shuttle service towards Manuel Antonio National Park. You will be driven through coffee plantations and volcanic mountains down to the Pacific slope until you get to Quepos, a town located by the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park Overnight stay at La Foresta Nature Resort or similar. Breakfast included.
Day 6 - Manuel Antonio National Park –Day at leisure in Manuel Antonio for activities like a hiking at the Manuel Antonio National Park where you can enjoy its pristine beaches surrounded by the exotic rain forest (National Park is closed all Mondays). There are many OPTIONAL TOURS that you can do in this area like a Kayak Tour in the Ocean, a Boat Safari in the Mangroves of Damas Island or a Horseback Riding tour in a real costa rican country farm. Overnight stay at La Foresta Nature Resort or similar. Breakfast included.
Day 7 – Manuel Antonio National Park – San Jose – Morning at leisure to enjoy the beach. In the afternoon shuttle bus will bring you back to San Jose. Overnight stay at Hotel Rincon del Valle or similar. Breakfast included.
Day 8 - SAN JOSE – INTL. AIRPORT - Shuttle transfer to the International Airport and return flight.
TOUR "A" OPTIONS:
BALSA RIVER RAFTING CLASS III & IV:
Get pumped for a challenging descent into a lush rainforest canyon that will stimulate your adrenaline glands to the max. The Upper Balsa, is a stretch that is considered one of the most technical rapids in Costa Rica. You will be accompanied by expert river guides and safety kayakers. There will be two breaks from the heart pounding rapids to refuel. The first stop will be on half way after the exciting class 3-4 rapids in the midst of the canyon under a refreshing waterfall. Here we will enjoy nature’s bounty in the form of fresh fruit. The second stop will be for an authentic Costa Rican lunch. This tour requires physical condition and a thirst for adventure. It is recommended for beginners and experienced rafters.

CANYONING & WATERFALL RAPPEL:
Prepare to get wet! Imagine yourself in the midst of thick rainforest at the top of a magical canyon full of tropical waterfalls with surprises each step of the way. Take a deep breath while you’re standing on a sturdy platform looking down into the depths of a 150-ft massive tropical waterfall. You’ll rappel down for the thrill of a lifetime! Make your way along the river by down-climbing & rappelling a series of six waterfalls that get gradually bigger &... BIGGER! The biggest & most-exciting waterfall is your last descent... you will finish with a fun 200ft-guided-rappel!! The hike back up takes about 10 minutes, but take your time to enjoy the intense rainforest that surrounds you! At the top, you will arrive to our Canyon Café where you can change into your dry clothes and then sit down to your best meal in Costa Rica!

CAÑO NEGRO WILDLIFE REFUGE BY BOAT:
If you want to experience a relaxing tour on a boat while you observe the astonishing flora and fauna of Costa Rica you’re on the right tour. The Caño Negro (Rio Frio) wildlife Nature Reserve is in the northern part of the country near the Nicaraguan border and is a heaven for bird watchers. You will drive approximately 1 ½ hours to the town of los Chiles where you are going to embark on a Pantong Boat that in 2 ½ will bring you near the costarican Wildlife. Not only birds will pass your way, a great amount o caimans, sloths, monkeys and other animals can be spotted. After this wonderful trip you’re going to enjoy a delicious typical costarican lunch before you drive back to La Fortuna.

ECOGLIDE CANOPY TOUR:
The Ecoglide canopy tour not only offers you a great adventure but also an opportunity to observe all the animal life in its natural habitat. Each platform has been designed so that you can observe the forest from different angles allowing you to photograph the impressing scenery. Discover what adrenaline really means to nature lovers.
The first section of the tour has 6 cables and 7 platforms, with lengths from 10 meters up to 110 meters.
The second section has 5 cables and 6 platforms, with lengths from 40 meters up to 160 meters. At the end of this section you will find the Tarzan Swing.
And the last section that has 4 cables and 5 platforms, with lengths from 70 meters up to 430 meters.

ARENAL HANGING BRIDGES:
The Arenal Hanging Bridges is a beautiful, environmentally -friendly project located near the Arenal Volcano. Walk right into the forest with your naturalist guide along over 2 miles of easy, safe, and beautiful trails with views of the Arenal Volcano and six hanging bridges overlooking the tree canopy bringing you as close as you could ever hope to get to the birds, the flowers and the lush vegetation of this primary rainforest. The tour includes transportation, naturalist guide and drinks.

HORSEBACK RIDING TO LA FORTUNA WATERFALL:
This is a good combination of horseback ride and hike and a beautiful stage. Those are trained horses that will take you until the entrance of the waterfall through pastures, forest and tall hills. The views of the Valley of San Carlos and the tropical forest that enclose it are spectacular. At the end of the road, we will leave the horses and we will descend walking for a natural trail until the base of the waterfall. This fantastic area is very quiet and special to relax and swimming for a while.
